English Week

During the past days our school “Colegio La Fuente” transformed into a special celebration of the Annual English week. This year the main topic was “Classic Movies”. The event brought together students, families, and teachers for a day filled of laughs, creativity and impressive performances that showcased the talents of the students from Kindergarten to High School.

The show was opened by the students from Kinder and Pre Kinder with the song from Madagascar movie called “I like move it, move it”, captivating the audience with their energy and enthusiasm. This was followed by lively musical numbers such as “Hakuna Matata” and “August Gloop”, highlighting the joy of storytelling through song and dance.
High school students took the stage next, presenting their interpretations of iconic films and episodes. Performances included memorable scenes from “White Chicks”, “Mean girls”, “Alice in Wonderland”, and one classic comedy movie “The three Stooges”. These presentations did not only entertain but also demonstrated the hard work and dedication the students had put into their English classes.

In addition to the show, our students participated in an exciting “Spelling Bee” contest with students from 5th to 12th grade. This friendly competition tested the students’ spelling and listening skills and added and extra excitement to the day. The winners were:
5th Grade Alonso Ureta and Agustín Sepulveda.
7th Grade Sofía Villanueva and Victoria Guajardo
9th Grade Josefa Godoy and Matilda Cuevas
12th Grade Nicolás Román

We also thank to our 11th grade students, who for the first time, created the first newspaper called “La Fuente News”, which was printed and given to our school community.
